About Dumitru Corduneanu

At the beginning of the previous decade, I was living in Bucharest and living life at full speed — working from morning until night, and enjoying myself from night until dawn.

That whole whirlwind came to a halt when I arrived in London, having moved here for work. We were expecting a child. In the evenings, we drank tea at home.

Out of boredom, I started spending time on the internet. Quite quickly, I discovered platforms featuring high-resolution photography distributed by professionals.

Up until then, I had not taken photos even with a phone. I was still carrying a Nokia.

I bought my first camera and went out into the streets to rediscover the world. That is what I still do today.
